City Steel UAE Mills takes the privilege in introducing first time in Pakistan high strength deformed steel bars manufactured on European technology plant i.e. TMT (Thermo Mechanical Process or Quenching) which has made this new generation ribbed reinforcement bar possible and separates it from the traditional bars due to its manufacturing technique and properties which conforms to all international quality standards.

The Deformed Steel Bars manufactured by using TMT are best for the construction steel industry, Dams, Bridges, Flyovers, Housing Sectors, High rise Buildings, Sea shore areas and Underpasses. TMT Bars ensures safer RCC structures especially in seismic zone as compared to Cold Twisted Bars by having high yield strength with greater ductility required in civil and structural designs all over the Globe.

The main objective TMT process is to produce bars of minimum 500N/nms with high value of around 18% to 24% of elongation so that a saving in quantity of steel could be achieved without compromising on safety.
